i have a grid k2 in a cloud gaming vm and i am trying to inf mod a quadro k5000 driver to work with it because the k2 has long been discontinued and the newest driver is from 2020 i tryed using many inf guides but no luck it fails when installing the gpu driver. does anyone have a modded k2 driver or can anyone shed light on the possible problem i have with my inf mod failing during install.
ps my hypervisor is esxi 7 and i am passing through only one of the gpus on the k2

Looks like you are the first user here who tries to mod a driver for a GRID GPU.

Which host OS exactly do you use?
Which driver version is currently installed?
Upload a GPU-Z screenshot.

i tried to inf mod k5000 driver 392.65 and 472.98 but no luck also i have no inf mod expierience

Create a system restore point

Unpack Quadro 472.98 with 7zip

Open NVCleanstall

select "use driver files from disk", navigate to the setup.exe of the unpacked driver
select components to install
select "add hardware support" under installation tweaks
select name, then ID (the hex number from the right)
select a GPU as template which is most similar to the target GPU

i will attempt that and get back to you soon thanks

what do you mean by hex numbers from the right

ok

ok the install went great thanks for the advice but i still face another issue. the issue occured in the old driver as well the issue is when playing games(i tested a few diffrent ones) the cpu usage is not very high and the gpu usage does not usually surpass 50% which causes very poor performance my cpu is e5 2670 v2 8 vcpus here is a 1 minute video link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bW7F3Gj-KDhDFU1fNSuwOXMX5KFWYJJV/view?usp=sharing

I got a Grid K2 card for a cheap price (aprox 25 Usd), it is unmodded stock card. I can make the cooler, i have modded a few tesla cards (i use an M40 for gaming with Quado M6000 driver) but i new to the Grid cards.
Can i simply write the Quadro K5000 Bios to the card bioses? Or maybe the GTX690 bios (Asus ROG MARS III but reduced clocks)?
Can SLI work with this card like the GTX690 ?
Or its works with forced driver install?
For the display output i have standard quadro cards (few K and M series).
