Hello there people,

I need your help about this issue. I have Creative inspire 4.1 sound system and an iHome IW1 stereo speaker (with 3.5mm input).

My mobo Asus H81M-D has realtek 5.1 audio output. When I do the setup by the book, I get the LFE from the IW1 which is very very weak compared to Inspire. When I disable center channel from the realtek manager app, everything is close to perfection. The LFE comes from the Inspire subwoofer, the center channel comes from the iW1... One caveat though. LFE also comes from the two front speakers as well...

The inspire woofer has two inputs, green and black 3.5mm. I am guessing LFE and Center is mixed into the front (green cable).

Is there any possibility of doing this cleanly? Like, somehow splitting (or filtering) iW1 into LFE and center so I can somehow jack LFE into the inspire's (splitted) front cable?

Thank you

LFE is normally mixed in with the black cable that provides signal for the center speaker.

Nope my friend, my inspire 4.1 has only green (fronts) and black (rears) cables and LFE/C is mixed into the front cable.

My setup is almost perfect right now but LFE sound also comes out of the front two speakers (system thinks it's center) and it irritates me.

What I want to do is, filter out iW1's LFE channel and bake it into the front cable of Inspire somehow.

CL speakers are typically closed/proprietary. Sub is typically mixer and power source for the satellite.

You would need a equalizer/mixer software and a means of channeling different sound sources to different ports on the soundcard/isc

Orange but your right it’s mixed with the Centre for standard 3.5mm 5.1 setups

Anyway to do it?
