Hi all.
I have a bit of a mess in my case for cooling so I need your help.

I have the Corsair spec alpha case. It’s not the best but when I purchased it I liked.
It comes with three fans out of the box: 2 on the front with led and one in the back as exhaust.
the 2 on the front are regulated with a switch that lets me select 3 speed levels.
the exhaust one has a 3 pin connector and it’s connected to the motherboard

then I added another Corsair sp120 high performance for better cooling.

now the problem is with this one. I regulated the rpms in the bios to be quiet when idling and When reaching 70C on the cpu it’s set to 100% and the rpms are regulated by its temperature .
the thing that’s sucks is the continuous spikes that has when doing things such as opening apps (not every single one).

do you have any suggestion?

There's long an issue with Corsair fans when ganged on a single channel, Should not apply in your case but should be aware going forward.

I am particularly annoyed by fan noise ... i build custom loops primarily for noise reduction rather than performance gains. To me, if i can tell the PC is on by using my ears, it is unacceptable.

Unfortunately B series MoBos are usually kinda weak of many of the things that aren't listed in big letters on the box and spec sheets

For example....

Realtek ALC892 is a low budget audio system ... gaming standard is ALC 1220
Realtek 8111H again is a budget offering

By the time you'd find a B450 board with the standard gaming offerings you could have an X series board.

used to be such featurers were only available on the slightly higher priced boards along with more advanced BIOS and MoBo utilities provided. These utilities allow you to produce fan curves for each fan header. As the years go by, these are appearing on lower prced boards more and more, ....Asus calls it FAnXpert, i forget what MSIs is called... check your MoBo DVD or the MSI website

Thanks, i'll try later

I don't really understand your issue, why not just set a smooth curve ? Of course you're going to get spikes, that's how you set it up. If the board doesn't allow you to do it any other way use something like SpeedFan and set a smoother fan curve.

Honestly with case fans you're just better off setting them to run at a moderate constant speed, the point of case ventilation is to provide a constant airflow. By the time components heat up the air should have already been moved by your case.

Yeah probably it’s a better idea.
I did this because the airflow in my case is not the greatest
