I don't know why I plug my desktop directly to the 2.5gb port or 4 1gb port and pc shows only 100mbps connection. but when I plug the pc to a switch and it shows 1gb speed. modem to switch then 1 to asus router and 1 to pc now. Try to cut off the switch coz it getting disconnected for the last few days. not sure its because the window update or the switch itself. Don't know which setting in the Asus router makes only 100 mbps lan connection.
