Hey there, this afternoon I was installing a new game on my windows 7 ultimate, 640 Western Digital Black HDD and it asked me to restart, so I did and when I when it came back on, it went through the screens of my mobo etc. Then it showed showed a black screen and said "loading files" and then began to do some startup repair. After the repair finished it allowed me to login to my regular windows 7 and all my files were present and fine (at least I hope) Windows 7 had been telling me it was not genuine for about over a month now I believe so could that have something to do with it? And is this something I should be very worried about??
Also my 2nd issue is that I have a windows 7 evaluation copy on my other HDD, which I know basically nothing about but that it is pretty slow (around 5400rpm)
. When I boot up that HDD the windows 7 screen shows up after bootup and asks me for my password, but my keyboard won't work
. I don't know why but it's disabling me from getting into some of my files.
I am going to reformat my 5400rpm HDD once you guys help me with the keyboard problem and put windows xp on it, and transfer all my important files that are on the Western Digital HDD onto there asap. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
