Hello there, long time no see...

I need help with this file extension, I did a google search but it pointed me in loops which I didn't understand and confused my self resulting to a head ache!

*.jp2 is a new format for the jpeg family, as googling points apple quick time can open this, but I don't want apple bloat on my machine.... Can there be an application which lets the default viewer of win7 to open this file.. or a Gimp plug in for this? Any help will do..

Thanks in advance.....

Psyk~~

If you have a current version of Photoshop it supports JPG2000, older versions need a plug in.

There is also a browser plug-in called ExpressView which supports the JPG2000 format.
