Help With Memory overclocking

Hi, Im trying to get my rams to the maximum performance but idk how to do it, the main reason that I am here posting this is because when I try to set the default Expo profile that the motherboard gives me my PC just won't boot, and the Soc/Uncore OC Voltage number turns red instead of white, idk if my CPU can't handle the 6400mhz but I would be satisfied with just 6000mhz, can anyone help me setting the rams correctly? Im going to load some images so you can see of what I'm talking about, thanks.

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x
GPU: Asus ROG Strix 6700 XT OC
Motherboard: ASRock A620M HDV/M.2+
RAMs: Kingbank (2x16gb) 6400mhz

ASRock A620M HDV/M.2+ That is your problem

Good luck getting A620 Motherboard to do anything above 5600 reliably. Sorry to say but a 4-layer $100 motherboard isn't good enough.

Nah man tell me that we can do something about it, there is always a way
Yeah throw it away lol. Best option is to update to the newest BIOS and jam a ton of voltage into the CPU.

I'm already on the newest version of the bios

Worked so hard to get my computer, I didn't know that a620 motherboards are that bad I just bought one of the cheapest quality/price that I found.

@dgianstefani to the rescue.

They aren't bad. Just design for a budget and officially AMD only support DDR5-5200.

So Im not going to be able to reach 6000mhz? Or something like 5800mhz
Hard to tell from your screenshots what settings you have going. You can press F12 in the BIOS to save to flash drive.

I would disable Memory Context Restore for sure. After that should should target 5600 first, see if that at least works with all Auto CPU/Mem settings. Get a baseline at least.

I am working with 6000mhz right now just by changing the DRAM Frequency setting and leaving all of the other setting on Auto and my computer booted up like normally, showing 6000mhz on task manager

Set EXPO 6400 to get the timings/voltages set from the profile instead of the JEDEC crap.

Then set memory frequency to 6000 MT.

I doubt you'll be able to run it, but perhaps with a voltage bump.

There is zero chance you can run your EXPO 6400 profile on an A620 Mobo.

VDDP to 1.125, VDDIO/MC to 1.3/1.35 Misc voltage to 1.125.

DRAM VDD to 1.45 and VDDQ to 1.35.

Maybe you'll get 6000 working.

Use OCCT to check stability.

But If I do that the SOC Uncore number will be red, I always thought that red means danger

You have a crap motherboard.

Voltage is the only way to maybe get 6000 stable. Your choice.

I run much higher voltages but I have a much better motherboard.

VDDG CCD/IOD to 1050 mV

Is ok like that?
VDDP to 1.125, VDDIO/MC to 1.3/1.35 Misc voltage to 1.125.

DRAM VDD to 1.45 and VDDQ to 1.35.

VDDG CCD/IOD to 1050 mV.

You need to set all of them.

This is something that should be done after you enable EXPO to get the timings set for you. Setting EXPO will reset the voltages, which is why you set them manually afterwards.

Is not letting me change the VDD Misc voltage to 1.125 is locked on 1.120 I changed all the other things look, tell me if I can apply and restart now

What are your timings.

EXPO should be 32-38-38-80

Should be because I didn't restarted the pc yet idk what to do rn
Set those timings manually

Or restart now to save the bios and go back in.

Ignore his voltages, he's using a better mobo, your mobo will need higher voltages.

But you can use Buildzoid's easy timings.

Pc booted up, look at the timings what is the next step? Or I should leave it like that?View attachment 344676
Your tRFC and tREFI need improving.
But before that run OCCT and test memory stability at the settings you have.
