I have a PCI-E x800 GTO. I would like to raise my GPU speed and Mem Clock speeds a little. I can do this using the ATITool with no problem. My question is, do I have to leave ATITool running for the card to keep running at the OC speeds?

Here is the info from the ATITool 0.24
Device ID 5549
Chip Type R423
Memory Size 256 MB
Memory Bus Width 256 bit
Active Pipelines 12
Default GPU Clock 400.00Mhz
Default Mem Clock 490.00Mhz
CONFIG_DIE_FUSES 0xEFF3EFFF
CONFIG_SUBSTRATE_FUSS 0xFFFFF71E
CONFIG_ROM_FUSES 0x861
GB_PIPE_SELECT 0x6E48

you will need to create a profile and everytime u have atitool running load it and it will run at those speeds, also be sure to have atitool running in the background. and make sure u watch the temperatures and make sure they dont get above 85. id recommend finding what other ppl have found to be stable speeds and run them at or around those speeds. when o/c do it about 10 -15 hz at a time and search for artifacts, keep goin until its as fast as u want and stable with no artifacts.

im only running mine at 413/513 because i havent gotten around to o/c it.

thanks. I am running mine at 429/510. do you know if we are able to unlock the other 4 pipes on this card?

ya somewhere else on here they have the info on how to do it, mine came with the unlocked pipes so i cant tell u how
