System Name Dell precision t7500
Processor Xeon 2x6core
Memory 6 gb
Video Card(s) Nvidia gt 545
Storage 168
Display(s) 55 inch curved lg
Power Supply 1100 wat
I wanna build this into a gaming rig it has two 6 core Xeon processors and 6 gb ram I wanna know which windows to use. I have a nvidia GeForce gt 545 graphic card. Take me a while but I do plan on getting a better graphic card would it be possible for 4k hdr gaming with right equipment

The T7500 is a CAD workstation and should have enough power supply for SLI. Add big video card of your choice and install video games?

If possible up the ram to at least 8GB.

No card out currently handles 4K that well, also that motherboard has no means of doing fsb or multiplier overclocking to help feed a card faster.

O S choice, Windows 7 or Windows 10

which Xeons are they?

a 290x(80% power usage) will toast that PSU (520Watt) in ½ a year, been there done that :) (combined with a E5640 and 3x4gb + 2 HDs)

if it is the same PSU as the 2 i have it only has 1x6Pin PCIE plug

On my own rig 4K(UHD) is not running well in the newer games so don’t expect to make that happen (5930k@4,1Ghz + 1080TI@2050)

You could get a 1070/1080 and use that and get a desent gamer. Min. 8gb memory and for a cpu upgrade E5675

Just saying

What mobo are you running? I have a few x5650 in my test server at work. Might consider trying to bring one home and OC it :)

ASUS ROG ii Extreme. I have X5670 in it now.
