Help, X800 can not flash back to 8 pipes

I modded my X800 yesterday using this tutorial.

Extra 8 pipes successfully unlocked, but seems not stable when running 3d games, so I flashed my original bios back, GOD, it's still 16 pines . I tried that empty.bios then, still no changes.

problably didn't use the "original bios" did u check in hex editor for the number of pipes.
the x800 bios thread has guide for how many pipes 8,12,16
i can move from 12 to 16 pipes and back easy

a possible reason the card is unstable is PSU, and heat.

I bet you didnt cut the trace you made with the electricians pen \ conductive paint, did you? (assuming your X800 is actually a Pro.. you dont say if it is or not ) alternatively you could try underclocking your core, probably get better performance still.. but again you dont say what the exact problem is, weather its checkerboarding, artifacts or lockups.
