ok ive hooked up my HTPC(secondary pc) to my Home Theater, projecting on about a 150" 1080i(1920x1080). now i i 8 Lazy boy seats in 2 rows(4 a row). the receiver, dvd player, ect. is in a mini closet on a rack set with 4 racks. the pc is on the 2nd row from the bottom. i need to get a new keyboard and mouse for it. ive been thinking of getting these keyboards and mice:
1. Razer Tarantula

2. Razer Diamonback

3. Logitech MX Revolution
logi_mx_1.jpg

4. Saitek Eclipse 2

These are all the keyboards/ mice ive come up with so far. I REALLY REALLY like the the
Razer Tarantula:
Pros:
-Sleek
-Black
-Shiny :O
-USB, audio jacks
-Macro keys
Cons:
-Main keys not backlit
-Wired
Razer Diamonback:
Pros:
-Backlight
-Sleek
-Side Buttons
Cons:
-Wired
Logitech MX Revolution:
Pros:
-Sweet Looking
-Wireless
-Extra Buttons
Cons:
-Connectivity Probs
-Battery Life
-Middle Button cant used as
an Extra Button
Saitek Eclipse II
Pros:
-All Keys Backlit
-Audio Playback Options
-Cool Lookin'
Cons:
-Wired

I dont want to get another Saitek Eclipse 1 because i already have 1. So thats why im thinking of getting an Eclipse 2.

For the Logitech MX Revolution i think it might be a problem because it has some random Connectivity Problems, PLUS the Receiver would be in a closet which would be behind me which would most likely give me more problems. So im thinking of getting a wired mouse. ill be using the mouse and keyboard in both rows of the theater. if i do get wired i will almost 100% get a USB extension cable(6 feet-10feet)
Here is a pic of the theater so u can get a better view.

sweet!!! setup...absolutely amzing..id go with the saitek 2 and razer dback

i have the dinovo edge..and i probably will not buy a new keyboard period..its that good..the built in touchpad and volume control + extensive amber backlit media keys make it the perfect cinema companion...and i dont lose the mouse down the side of the couch anymore....its a bit pricy but it looks like you would appreciate the best...if not...consider bluetooth wireless as you can hide the dongle anywhere within 30 feet....i also pair the dinovo with my notbook...and anything else with bluetooth(though i havent tried my nokia yet)...anyway see how you go...dunno about usb cables strewn about the theatre though.
