How do I access the appdata folder when it is not my C:\ drive?

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
My google foo is failing me today so I come to the forums for help. I need to be able to see (copy) the appdata path (C:\users\username\appdata), but cannot seem to get permissions to even see it. I need to copy the Minecraft save data for my kiddo before I SE this drive and put a fresh W10 on it.

I am certain I am missing something easy.

TIA!

When you say you cannot see it do you mean you don't see the main AppData folder? If so you can click on the view tab at the top then over to the right a bit tick the hidden items check box.

Its a hidden folder by default. You need to enable hidden files and folders. You can navigate to it though by typing in the path or if you are logged in under the user account in question in explorer just click on the navigation bar and type %appdata% its a system variable so it will open it right up.

Yeah as the others said, when i back up stuff from their like for Teamspeak i just turn off hidden folders and turn it back on when done.

On win10 open explorer click This PC ( i think it was My computer on win7 ) \ click file at the top of explorer then click Change folder and search options and it's in the second tab.

Thank you, all.

However, it is NOT a C:\ drive in the current PC (old PC broke, trying to get data off it). So typing in %appd% will not work!!

I guess I just need to enable the hidden files and folders....
