how to install win7 in a netbook ?

Hi,
my friend is planning to get ASUS 1005PX netbook ..have 2 doubts...

1)how to install win7 32 bit os ? plz explain ..cause I don't know how to?

2)he has 17"crt...is it possible to connect netbook thru a vga connector ?

1) You will have to install it via a USB stick. Instructions are here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dd535816.aspx

2) Yes, if the netbook has a VGA out you can connect it to a CRT monitor.

Or hook an external disc drive to it - you know in case you failed the USB boot thing for the fifth time in a row.

By the way, I'd add another gigabyte of RAM there. I have an Asus eeePC, and that second gigabyte works wonders I tell you.

You will have to buy a 2GB stick and replace the stick that is currently in the laptop, it does not have an extra slot.

THis is correct, but 2GB SODIMM modules are pretty cheap.
Cheapest on newegg for under 30 bucks.

To clarify: You will need a SO-DIMM DDR2 module with 200 pins. Which i conveniently picked out for you in above link.
