I'm editing a film on my desktop at the moment and I initially had all the video files on my desktop hard drive but I'd like to work from an external so I can edit at home and in uni. so I copied the video files to the external and deleted them temporarily form my desktop to break the links, and then when it asked "where is file 00001.MTS" I found it on the external. However when I took it into uni today all the files were offline even though they are definitely on the external. Any way I can make sure the .prproj file and all the video files can be worked on from the external HDD?
