How to overclock RAM speed past DRAM Calculator values?

I've got Hynix AFR. Rated at 3200C16.

DRAM calculator stops support for AFR at 3466, was wondering if it was possible to find calculated values beyond that.

My kit passed memtest86 with no errors at 3533C16 using the 3466 AFR "fast" timings at 1.35 volts. Pushing to 3600 at the same timings gives an error, not sure what to try from here.

Feels that I have a bit of headroom considering 3533C16 works at 1.35 volts, was wondering what steps I could take to increase the frequency further. There's so many values in the BIOS that it seems like it would take ages to increase speeds without the DRAM calc...

Try increasing your timings, CAS and tRFC are the two to look at initially, but you might have to increase the other main timings too.
That's normally what you have to do to increase memory clocks.
Higher clocks might be negated by the higher latency though.

Overclock by reduce timings or increase frequency.

Test with MemTest86 for basic stability and then with MemTest64 for complete stability.

This will help.

I have always gone to the manufacturer and looked at what they sell at the speed you want to try. Most times the same ICs run across the series. Just apply what they have, and you can always try tightening timings after the speed has been stabilized.
