Hi Guys,

I want to setup my speakers like "1" o "2" in attached photos to play mp3 song whenever my doorbell "4" is pressed. If required I may connect sony mp3 player as shown in "2".

or perhaps speakers with inbuilt micro SD will do, but need to know how can I do this.

Please advise.

LMAO. have fun with that. only way i can think to do it is by a lot of programming, circuit boards, and wires.

i checked that too, but will it produce sound in stereo mode ? I cheked some youtube videos of it. not sure about sound though..

It will do MP3 (Which is stereo on how its encoded) and polyphonics so you should be good.

I would think the easiest way would be to buy a doorbell where the bell noise lasts for a few seconds, replace whatever electronics the device uses to make the sound with the MP3 player and hook it into the speaker.

Find a child recording toy that has a playback button and then wire that into the doorbell switch?

I saw this thread, and instantly knew it was michael who created it. Reminds me of the PC remote to power on the PC, did that ever come to fruition?

Thanks for remembering that is on the way, I have been search of some perfect box or some round shape object to hide my remote which will have red push button on the top. :)
This is easy to do as I just need right finishing polished material to hide the wired stuff inside.
