I need help to solve a problem I have had for quite some time!

The first is with the PotPlayer:
I have HTPC that I play movies that I download from the internet.
The file format I am using is *.MKV. My amplifier is capable of playing DTS & AC3 formats.
I have Windows 10 on the HTPC and use the PotPlayer to play movies.
I connect my PC with SPDIF from the soundcard that is onboard the motherboard. I hear a Stereo sound. What should I do to be able to hear the 5.1 audio without converting the video file?
I am attaching the settings I have for the PotPlayer

The second question I have is whether there is any possibility to hear 5.1 audio from Netflix and Amazon Prime I am also watching from my PC.
I use the TV as a monitor only I do not have any antenna connected to it

I would appreciate any assistance you could give me!
Thank you in advance for your time.

Use directsound if you need legacy mode, DD+ transcoded to Dolby Digital Live!, and DTS core only.

Yes, but you have to use the windows app
and Amazon Prime I am also watching from my PC.

Thank's for your reply!
Can you be please more specific about what you mean by "adding WASAPI" and where and how?

Windows app you mean Edge or Internet Explorer?
I mean the app from the App Store :)

If you have a surround receiver if just use hdmi rather than hacking the drivers, but that’s just me

@thewan, noted, I had that issue with my extractor, but I modified the EDID, and did not seem to need the other options after.
