When I try to run a GOG game, I get the popup from GOG Galaxy and I need to login, thus it wants to connect.

This is stupid since GOG always advertises "No DRM and play games offline"

Otherwise I could have bought all my games on Steam.

On the website, they offer offline installer packages alongside galaxy bundles. You'll want those.

I believe galaxy can run offline but I forget how.

That would be nice.

Ok , going to download the installer packages from GOG now.

I don't use galaxy or I'd figure it out for you. I'm sure someone here knows though.

Start the games directly through their exe's or other launch shortcuts.
Galaxy's default shortcut starts it through the launcher to enable their own achievements and stats tracking etc. Doesn't mean you have to start it through Galaxy though, navigate to the game folder and start it from there.

Ok I'll try that too. Thanks.

That's working fine.

If you're talking about downloading, the option for offline downloads should be right underneath the Galaxy download in the game menu on your Game Library page.

If you're talking about running them without the Galaxy client, either run the game exe directly from the install folder or just download and install games manually which will create shortcuts.

But you figured that out...
