Thats a P35 chipset if i'm not mistaken, i set up raid on both P35 and X48 and its quite easy. First its good to have identical drives. Then plug them into SATA ports associated with ICH9R SB and go into your BIOS and set your drives to RAID mode as opposed to IDE or ACHI. Then after you reboot the second screen is the one for the Intel RAID utility, press Control-I to enter it. There you should set up the array, its pretty straighforward, the set up option is called Create RAID Volume, i believe. Then save and exit. And proceed to install the OS. I'm told that with Vista you dont need to install drivers with floppy since they are already there and it should detect your RAID drives as one. I've never done this with Vista however, only XP. If you run into problems someone witn Vista experience should be able to help you further.

Have to use the sata in the back of machine and the one to the far left of the board lol . Oh well i dont need it that bad i guess lol
