Hello friends,

I have a Gigabyte OC Gaming Vega 64 (dual fan) that I sold recently on ebay that was working. The customer made a return claim and said the card would not work, only fans would spin.

I suspect they may have tried to use it for mining. Is there a way to see if they tried to flash a new bios on it and failed?

Thanks!

Edit:

Booting windows with a GT710 for display, the Vega 64 shows up in device manager with no issues. Here's what gpuid says:

The clocks are wrong for a Gigabyte Vega 64.
They should be 1630/945
Edit, that is for the C1 variant, C3 the clocks are correct.

Comparing on bios versions, it seems to be showing up as a vega 56 now?

Edit: Yea he tried to flash it with the wrong BIOS.

Edit 2: Flashed it successfully back to the original bios, still no display. Tried a benchmark and forgot it was connected with two 6 pin to 8 pin converters. for some reason that fried the power supply (825w) in the test system.

It's a fine day.
