Hows this overclock on ECS crossfire board.

Do you have those 1GB sticks of Ballistix memoery? If so make sure you DO NOT EVER! take the voltage above 2.7v Other wise they will "break" again.

i would not overclock that board,
you will notice that the capacitors on that ECS are OST and g-luxor, those are not quality components, put pressure on those, they will fatten up, and blow. might take a few months, even a year or two, but those boards arent made for overclocking, their made for bargin hunters,

Yea they are cruicial ballistix pc4000 1gb sticks , i took them to 3.0 vdimm oops LOL.
This motherboard isnt going to fry it doesnt get hot enough if it does owell!

Funny with the cruical pc4000 i can only get 238 FSB 1:1 on my dfi lanparty nf4 sli-dr 4.0 vdimm using mosfets and this ECS board with capacitors instead of mosfets is overclocking to 260 fsb 1:1 with only 3.0vdimm LOL might not of been meant for overclocking but that it sure does better than my dfi board.

Hey like i always said, "IF IT GOES RMA IT". I'm not surprised with any overclock using value/select memory that aren't suppose to be overclock. I've seen it everywhere so no surprise, nope. Probably get yourself a nice DFI board, they have great Caps for stability. I've gotten a 30s in the 1m Super-PI with my 3000+ @2.7GHz before...hehehe

i was running like 5 programs when i did the cpu test lol it slowed down my time anyway superpi isnt a great application to compare performance its 100% true my cpu @ 2880 ghz is more powerful than yours @ 2700.

I have a DFI LANPARTY NF4 SLI-DR RIGHT HERE ITS MINE>

that can only reach 220 with the same pc3200 ram. with my pc4000 1gb sticks crucial ballistix 238 fsb is max i can get 1:1.

ECS board here same memory pc3200 corsair 240 fsb 1:1 with pc4000 it can reach 260 fsb.

dfi only goes 238 the ECS does 260.

I say the ECS owns the dfi lanparty !
