Tested drive. Its good also tried another drive same thing. I can see the recovery partition.

Fooled around with a few BIOS settings. Maybe needs a SATA driver?

Any Ideas ??

Turn off secure boot and change UEFI to CSM? Probably won't work, just a thought if you're doing Win7.

I pretty sure I tried that. I check again. Tryng to boot from the DVD right now

Wow it worked from the DVD W7 boot. Now to try an install

I thought it was maybe a bad SATA plug or wire so I tried the recovery partition again. No go

So now W7 installing

Okay so the install worked now to find Drivers for Windows 7 as HP does not support W7 for the G7 -2320dx

Okay well I have the lan and wireless drivers now. Time to start updating
