Hello everyone,
My brother the other week came by and asked me if I can fix an issue with his Zbook 17, as some of the keys refused to work. I agreed, and proceeded to diagnose the issue.
After some time with the laptop, I discovered that only some keys didn't work at all, while some took some time to respond using numerous inputs. I called my brother and asked when the issue began. Turns out, he dropped it from his lap, about a 3 to possible 4 feet drop (we share the same height).
Immediately, I looked at the hardware itself so I ordered a replacement keyboard. After a week, I received and then installed it. Unfortunately, it did not solve the problem.
I am asking any and all, what else could it be? I dread it may be the board.
Thanks!
