I hate choosing cases.

I hate choosing cases. It took me nearly 2 weeks of searching the net to decide on Cooler Master Silencio 352 for my main rig.

But now I need to decide on another. I currently have i7-6700 lying around doing nothing and I plan to build and replace my media PC with it.

I've already done plenty of researches and have narrowed down to three.
My main requirement for the case is

1. No top vent. I hate'em. It's dust magnet.
2. Specificially for mATX
3. No doors
4. Must have two exposed 5.25 bays due to having to install this.

5. I would prefer not have any vents on side panel but a small 80mm vent is acceptable.

My current choices are

SilverStone PRECISION Series PS09B

Antec VSK VSK3000E

Fractal Design Core 1100

If you have any altneratives, let me know kindly.
If not, which one would you choose out of the three?

Is it going to be below a desk or on a desk? If on a desk, Antec and Fractal are better because of the position of the USB ports and the like. If below a desk, Silverstone is better because the ports are closer to the top of the case.

Port location shouldn't matter. It will be on network. The only time I will use its USB is when I will install Fedora.

But to answer your question, it will be placed on a funiture which height is about the same as a desk.

Fractal design of the 3 or look for an Corsair they are nice too - most are basically the same but there are some without top exhaust which you don't like.

I have a case that would be superb for what you want to do, but I don't know if it's available north of the border and it has a door, so I won't mention it. A small door that covers the 5.25" bays.

I like doors. I don't need more blinky lights in the room

Let me know still. If it catches my eyes, I'd be willing to overlook the door part. Personally, I've imported all sort of cases over the years, some of which had more shipping cost than the case itself. S.Korea, Japan, etc...

Oh crap. There I go being a smart rasp and it doesn't look like they make them anymore. Amazon has some: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DSFEQKY/?tag=tec06d-20 The white version is >$400!
It also comes with a top vent, but they include a cover for it. The front filter is a PAIN to clean. The PLED is very bright. Case is very quiet though. Very high build quality and "feel".

I remember taking a look at it. I felt the depth was too long.

I actually favor Silverstone cases a lot and I did in fact consider that case for my main rig instead of Cooler Master Silencio 352. But the top vent as well as inverted mobo position put me off, not to mention its steep price which is twice of what I paid for Cooler Master Silencio 352.

That case is almost 3x times more expensive than the cases listed here. While I am willing to pay for a good case, I don't consider it good enough to warrant 139 CAD.

At the moment, I am leaning toward either SilverStone PRECISION Series PS09B or Fractal Design Core 1100. I will likely go for it when the FSP PSU arrives.

P.S. Antec had a killer mATX case years ago... with nice design and all. Donno why they ditched the design... Antec Mini P180. Would have overlooked the top vent if it was updated with USB3.

I didn't consider the top psu intake, as i'd probly use the power suppy as an additional exhaust for the main chamber.

Hmmm, thinking out of box, yeah?

Actually, it makes sense if you think that way.

This one might be better since it's 30 bucks cheaper for me.

Hm, I kinda hate you now. Got me thinking more. :D
