Ok, I have a new ISP, that has provided with a free (yepp free) modem - or as they call it "Residential Gateway" and it is optical.

Model is IGW-2000.

The issue is that I can't login to it, my laptops can't find it. I have sent an SMS to the guys who installed it, waiting for a response. It works good, when connected via ethernet.

And yes, I did try and find a solution via Google. We got it mounted and installed last year, and got to test it for free from Dec. 2011 - Feb. 2012. Also then we got a piece of paper with information on how to log in. Problem is.. I can't find that paper, I just know the password. It is not "routerlogin.net", that was for my router so that doesn't work..

Any solution?

Thanks

Theres your problem right there. Maybe they dont want you logging into it.

Is it just a modem,or is it a router-modem combo?

Edit:I just googled it and yes its a modem+router, what you need to do is:
Start-search cmd-type ipconfig in cmd-write the default gateway in your browser.

I need to login, otherwise the rest of the computers stand still. It has worked before, and works for everyone else who has it.. I just lost the paper with instructions.

Thanks Jack1n, that solved it!!

Omg.. They had done a reset... So the login was the same as the password. Changed that to something difficult.
Strange.. I asked for 10/10 from them. Got 1000/1000(!??!?)
