I just upgraded 4x 512mb DDR2-533 to 2x 1024mb DDr2-800

Should I test 3dmark06 again or will my gain be really small? Also I know I wouldnt get much of a boost now but this is so I dont have to pay 50$ again when I upgrade my mobo and get a nice cpu to OC :D I think ahaid!

So yea I havent gamed yet and im about to go eat so I would just like to know if I will see any fps differences :) thanks :toast:

It kinda depends what speed the ram is running at,will your board run it at ddr2 800 automatically?

2x1024 is better than 4x512 imho.

did you look around theres alot of good cheap ram

this would of been the best to get even less with the MIR for what you payed

Yea but I didnt want to get a brand like that cause I know Kingston is one of the best and my board is very picky with ram
