Hello everyone, I am trying to use my 3rd party ps3 controller to work with a few pc games such as dark souls 2 and shadow of mordor, but I have been unsucessful. here is the controller that I own http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003V4AK8E/?tag=tec06d-20. Its a really nice controller.

I have tried to use xpadder and the program x36ce with no luck.

any help would be appreciated.

It looks like that controller uses a custom receiver. I doubt you'll easily find drivers for that.

However, you can probably plug it directly into the computer using the USB port. Then use something like DS3 to load drivers for it(hopefully it registers on the computer as a standard PS3 controller).

the receiver doesn't matter the pairing functions off the macaddress
so long as he pairs it by plugging in it should work
remember this is console hardware we are talking about all the receivers must function exactly identical when it comes to the DS protocall

moar what driver is that? Im at work right now so i cant really check it and that website is blocked for me.

DS3/DS4 driver + xinput wrapper
should do exactly what you want

o ok il try it when i get home and it'l work with 3rd party remotes? I once got it to work with my laptop but I forgot how I did it since it was a while ago.

+1. There are other programs which might allow you to use your ps3 controller on your pc, but I found this method works far better than others. However, I'm not too sure about third party controllers.

i always used 3rd party controllers only. never had an original, never had a problem
