yep it's a handy little case I'm going to have my old 2 TB drive in it when I finish cloning to the 4 TB drive

If you will use it alot, be sure to buy extra type C cables, dont last long.

Dunno where you get that. I've never had a type C cable fail since using them for 6+ years. As long as you don't go full stupid with plugging them in they can last a long time.

I guess I go full stupid. I plug in my cables many times a day.

It might be the angle, or just quality of cables. I spent a few bucks more on mine and they've been fine.

Which one do you look for, got any links to any type c.

These for right angle and these for straight on daily use. Daily as in every night for my phone, and my wife's phone, and any device that uses type C. Even the ones I gave out to people the only one that doesn't work is because the dude dropped his phone while plugged in and ripped the connector out.

I also have a C to C with a watt usage thing built in that was a daily driver for years, just don't know where it is.

The two links, I bought all those two years ago and still in use all over.

thz, I'll bookmark those 2 links next time I need type c cables. I mostly use cables for external ssd drives.

this is the third enclosure that I got it will last me thanks for the heads-up
the strait USB c cables are on sale 44% off cool

well i got the drive yesterday and put it in the enclosure used Acronis to clone the C drive then took out the old drive and put in the new drive and put the old drive in enclosure the system booted right up and is working well I used cmd in elevated use and used diskpart to erase the old drive and use it for external storage

Not much experience with C cables here, but the bundled one with my old Google Pixel started to wear out pretty fast.
