I want to bradcast with my wireless G card

Pretty much what it says, I have a realtek wireless g card and I want to set it so it will broadcast interweb. Is this possible or will I have to buy a wireless router?
And if it is possible, how do I set it to do this?

It is possible, you need to set up an ad-hoc network.

Alright, I'm having problems again, other computers in my house can connect to me, but my PS3 can't. Unfortunately the sole reason for having this was to fold with my PS3.

I don't think the PS3 supports ad-hoc networks currently. I could be wrong though.

I take that back, you have to set the PS3 to ad-hoc mode. I believe it is called "Infrastructure Mode" on the PS3, but I could be wrong, I don't have access to my PS3 at the moment.

a computer can fake like a router, openWRT is just a flavor of linux
so anyhow, just use internet shareing, guessing your in windows xp or vista right? dunno how to do it in vista but in xp it would be really really easy to set it up like an access point, it even has an easy setup in the firewall[i think?] to forward ports to different boxes on the lan
