I want to record stream from PC

Hello,

I'm using SlingPlayer with Windows 8.1. I want to record stream from PC. Basically I want this: I want to see my PC on my TV (SlingPlayer) and record stream at the same time. What you can recommend? Maybe Hauppayge HD PVR 2 can do that (I will plug in one HDMI cable form PC to HD PVR 2 and second to my TV and USB cable to my laptop to start recoding app)? Or anyone can offer other solution?

Xsplit and Open Broadcaster Software allows you to stream and record at the same time.

I have used both and they both work good. They have there own pros and cons but they will work for what you need. You can try out OBS as it's free and see if you like it be fore investing money in software.
