Because of a retarded person I can't get my expected case (R.I.P Antec 300) and I have to get something local, living in Belfast is hard, there's only a few people who actually know what quality PC is and because of that as far as I know, there are no decent PC shops around here. So.. I have to get something from Maplin as it's local and it's my best shot (as I said, as far as I know, if anyone knows a better shop in Belfast, let me know). This is the best case I could find as most of the other ones were complete shit. So, is it any good? Will it be fine for couple months and what about cable management?

all i can say is be careful not to short out your mobo, as i did exacly that with this case due to the mobo plate having raised metal bits, blew up my old 939.

its very light and also seems very flimbsy / fragile.

other then that it isnt bad for cooling and looks decent.

its fairly cheap so i say u get what u paid for.

Is it not made of steel?

BTW if you accidentally kicked it over, would it leave a dent?

pritty sure its aluminium, seems quiet flexible and very light so i doubt theres any steel in it, i could be wrong.

i would be more worried about the hardware inside if u kicked it over then the case, you would have to kick it pritty hard to dint it tho unless u kick the side.

best option, dont put it where it might get kicked ^^.

also its quiet anoying to put together, you must attach brackets to both sides of the hdd's with screws, then screw those into the case.

and make sure u get the front fan power lead out b4 you put in your hdds :P or its a hell of a job to get it.

It won't be sitting where it might be kicked but I mean, I don't want to spend £40 on a case that won't even live through a little drop. If i had a car and I could got to lurgan (it's about 15 miles away, I could get a decent Antec 300 for about £55) but as I don't have a car, I would have to get train and that would be ghay.

lol

i get the train when i buy most of my new hardware due to the fact its cheaper and often thats the only shop that supplies that certain peice of hardware.

imo it would be worth it, the antec 300 over the icute.... coming from some 1 with 1x antec 300 3x antec 900 and 1x antec 1200 :P and 1x that i cute but with a see thru window.

its not going to break easily but its not the strongest either, long as ur not rough with it, it should do the job just fine.

The maplin cases are the best CHEAP cases around here. Tried mplex ? The antec you were talking about sounds like the best deal tho`

I'll check if the computer shop in Lurgan has the case in stock, if they do, and I sell my headphones, I might even go there on Saturday and get an Antec 300.
