Terrible! They still haven't fixed the DPI/zoom issues found in Beta 1. They are really rushing this release and I can't blame them really. Here is a recent article:

Internet Explorer market share falling like a ton of bricks

Similar news was reported few months ago, however the market-share loss problem seems to be accelerating. They are loosing market share fast. Extremely fast. Browsers like Chrome and Firefox are doing some serious damage.

think i'll stick with firefox

Me too, been using Firefox for about 3 years and have no reason to stop now. Passed up IE7 and will pass up IE8.

Same here. I do keep IE7 around for those certain sites which only seem to work well on IE. They are few and far between.

IE6 is still the winner IMO.

IE8 needs an interface design... the "workflow/ergonomics" of how the TAB mechanism and menu items and address bar is just not right yet.

It so obvious that it was designed WITHOUT TABS... then TABS were added as a ugly sister hack. FULL REDESIGN of the user space. Since MS has failed to fix this between IE7 and IE8 they need to bite the bullet - thier internal team cannot do the redesign - send it out!

The one gripe I have with 8 is the fact they use a red X to delete stored addresses. I find myself accidentally hitting the X for an address I want to visit.

I usually avoid beta stuff, i'd rather have the finished version. Then i'll see.

NeSeNVi,

Hey my name’s Feran and I’m with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team. As you noticed on the Microsoft website, the IE8 RC1 is the latest available version.

The IE8 blog - http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/ - will post something as soon as they make the official announcement about the final release of IE8. So anyone interested in the final IE8 release may want to keep an eye on it.

I hope this helps!

Feran
