iinet BoB lite modem

So i just got the BoB lite modem and when i play css my ping is 100+ which is very weird because when i use to play with the old modem i get 70-80 ping.

Im from WA btw. I checked and im not capped.

Any suggestions why my ping is 100? server is hosted in sydney but i should still be getting 70-80 ping.

Any suggestions at all would be great. Thanks in advanced.
