My computer had windows 7 already when I bought but question is, will product key right now windows 7 in my computer will work to clean install for windows 10?

My plan is download windows 10 to in my USB and activate product key with windows 7 from my computer for clean install. Will it work?

I repeat, my computer already had windows 7 when I bought computer.

Thanks.

You have to run an upgrade install first via the windows update pop-up app (GWX). Once you've done the upgrade, your motherboard is then licensed for Windows 10 via an entry on their servers. You can then run a clean install afterwards from a USB without a key, and once you go online you should automatically get activated.

There was tall about being able to use your old windows 7/8 key but I don't think that's been rolled out yet.

So windwos 10 files that installed in USB, is it still possible install in the another computer? My plan is install win 10 in new installed computer with files downloaded in USB.

I don't really understand what you're saying.

You have two options:

A) Have a previously licensed version of Windows 7 or 8 on a PC, run the GWX upgrade to Windows 10 (which then swaps your Windows 7/8 key to a Windows 10 license), then do a clean install and Microsoft will automatically license that PC provided the motherboard is installed.

B) Have a Windows 10 license, install Windows 10 on the PC as a clean install, and input that license.
