In F-Secure Safe, could these settings be set to improve Performance or FPS

I'm obsessed with FPS. Both games and frames.
How would you set these 5 settings for maximum frames per second? How do you guys balance between security and gaming performance?
1-5 on or off

??

How do you even know its affecting your frames?

If you do actually know then you already know what to shut off? If you dont want to shut it off, then get a product that doesnt affect your system as much.

There is a lot of assumption with your post that is confusing.

I never said that I know. I don't know if it's affecting my frames, but maybe someone else does and that is why I'm here.

I'm playing at 144 FPS and don't tweak any Windows options for it; its good to run the system light, as in, don't have all sorts of nonsense running in background, but Windows services like this are never going to interfere in any meaningful way. There is no 'balance between security and performance'. That was ten-fifteen years ago when virus scanners were not integrated as well and scheduling wasn't as versatile as it is now.

Your FPS is limited by hardware, not a few services running.

Also its important to understand that most games will saturate ONE core, maybe two, of your processor. So all those other physical cores are available to run numerous services, and the other threads the game needs (that usually aren't very heavy).

Another important fact is that some games are indeed open to executing malicious code, especially if abandoned by developer but even triple A content can have its leaks. It generally doesn't amount to much, but never say never. For example, its possible to inject malware through ads, as well.

The best, most conclusive answer here is testing it yourself.

Turn everything off, run a benchmark and post an FPS graph.
Turn everything on, run the same bench and compare.

Similarly, play games with both alternatives, but most online gaming environments won't trigger all sorts of scans.

Un-install F-Secure and use Windows Security/Defender. It's integrated into the OS, it is a very capable and robust anti-malware-virus solution and has no need for tweaking.

Well personally i havent used telia turvapaketti, but i would turn em all off just the same since ive never needed any security other than eset nod32.

Hi new guy.

Just spend a bit of time: Take a benchmark of choice. Run the benchmark. Then run the benchmark again albeit after having turned off all the options. If there's essentially no performance difference when all the options are off, then the options aren't a factor in performance and you can leave them all on.

LOL, never heard of it either.
Its finnish isp security package from the looks of it, but i havent used telia in decades.
