Hello.
I've recently tried updating my drivers and after the installation process and the screen flashing black i get the error message saying the installation has failed.
Last time I used this tool it was version 1.0.
I tried ddu in safe, reinstalling the OS, and not using any advanced installer features. Nothing helped.
I'm not sure what information to give you to pinpoint the issue other than that I'm on win7 x64 and installing the "445.87-desktop-win7-64bit-international-whql" drivers with only the main driver checked. My gpu is 2060 super.
Funny part is that after the failed installation the NVCleanstall shows the current version as 445.87 but the nvidia control panel won't open. I've read through the other thread with a similar issue but on https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us I didn't even find different drivers (dch/non-dch), just whql.
Same problem occurs when using nvslimmer or just plain drivers. I guess that makes it not a NVCleanstall problem specifically but I thought some of you can point me in the right direction.
I'd appreciate your help.
Regards.
