WoW.... well there you see... the INTEL prices arent so much better than AMD or even as the earlier Roadmaps suggested. Im intrested in the 2.4ghz version. But seems like i need atleast 600bucks?? Atleast...:( I was so much hoping i would go over to the "super" fast conroe this year. But i guess i will stick with my Opty 175 until some price cuts!!!??? :( Someone intrested in my Opteron 175, you can have it for 600$!??! :p

you have an opteron 175 in your notebook? eh? Your just compared a Desktop to Mobile processor. . .Conroe refers to the desktop processor, the Conroe pricing has been around for ages now.

Oh i missed that merom part...:p But i think the prices wont be so different... and thos roadmap prices are often in 1000 bulk or more... so i always ad a 100$. And i live in Sweden, so we got like the worlds highest taxes and the custom´s... so its gonna cost for us here...:) You who live in the US always have cheaper hardware than we do... almost 1/4 or even 1/2 sometimes of our prices... :(

lol Woops, yeah you guys over in Europe get hit hard by taxes.

Gigidi Gigidi :rockout: :nutkick: :toast: :slap:
:pimp:

WOW VAT of 25% in Sweden, and I thought our 17.5% in the UK was bad...!

Yeah, xylomn... you guys have it pretty good!!? :)

I reckon 2GHz is the best value out of those... not that it matters because I won't be buying a mobile processor any time soon.
