Intel Application Optimization(APO) on non-fully supported CPU's

I'm wondering if anyone has tried Application Optimization on their "non-fully supported" CPU, and what kind of results they got?
I tried it on WWZ/Epic with my 13600KF and I saw no effect.

Intel® Application Optimization Requirements​

  • Supported Intel® Core™ Desktop and Mobile i3, i5, i7 and i9 processors (Intel® Core™ 12th gen and newer).
 
You did see effect - the impact should be about that small on a Core i5. Your DX11 score remaining constant... I can tell you have a Radeon GPU.

As I understand, APO leverages the E-core clusters' extra cache and does some smart scheduling to work its magic. It's pretty much something you want an i9 for, or at least the i7-14700K for greatest effect.

I do understand the history of this tech, and to be honest I'm annoyed by such a simple and obvious statement.
I know it was made for 14700,14900 K KF KS HX.
I'm specifically interested in the actual results on non-supported CPU's.

I was hoping for real world results. Can you provide any source for what 13th gen i5 results should be?

It's not super clear exactly what it does, and it most likely does different thing in different games.
What Intel has said is this:
"Intel® Application Optimization does not modify frequency or any overclocking settings, it works by changing the way specific games run and are scheduled by Windows. Intel Application Optimization allocates hardware resources to applications with the goal of improving the end-user experience. This may include allocating fewer cores to an application than are natively present in the system."
