Ah, perfect for the upcoming winter. :D

So overall not even half a gen of upgrade and calling it a refresh itself is stretching it let alone as SKUs call it 14th gen.
And it's not even that long when we laughed to Skylake after Skylake after Skylake, here we go again.

And hey, the i7 got 4 more Atom cores!

That's very northern-hemisphere-centric. Our Australian and Brazilian forum friends are now calculating additional A/C costs in fear.

Can you confirm this for 14900K if You have other Mobo?

My z690 can do that on both 12900k and 13900k. I don't understand what "new feature" is this supposed to be

Wait what?
What wait!

So the only interesting cpu you guys could have tested is not included in the kit?

You had to buy it yourselfes?

Thanks and .. wow:wtf:

Mmm this is so tempting to upgrade… stay quiet my dark side shhhh

It means 14900K can keep 6Ghz at 100'c while former can't.

115°C has been included with my ASUS boards for many many years

Of course they can, every mobo I've tried already includes that "feature".
Did you read article ?
According to kuroberu, the user who shared the Z790 ACE MAX motherboard screenshot, this feature is designed specifically for Intel’s 14th Gen Core CPUs. Wccftech, who have direct contact with the MSI motherboard team, clarified that this feature will also be accessible for 600 series motherboards.
Why Only Intel 14th? why Not 13th? This what I asked.

Let me repeat myself.

You can do that on every motherboard on every Intel CPU...

Rather bizarre to not include the i7-14700K in the package and making reviewers buy it separately, specially when it's the only one with some eyes on top of it, no clue why they could've done this

14700K would draw a lot of the spotlight away from the 14900K. It also got a real upgrade - more cores, and the other two did not - which could make them look silly.

Record breaking power consumption :D
Igor pictured the beast gulping electricity from the socket. Probably wanted to say something with it.

Let me tell you something. What MSI did , They changed TjMax to 115'c for Intel 14th CPU , This implies that Intel 14th CPU doesn't throttle until 115C , while Intel 13th CPU does. If The number 115'c exists in every MB Bios , this means nothing but MSI does.
