Intel Graphics released the Arc GPU Graphics Drivers version 101.4575 that it originally released as a beta late last week, as a WHQL. What's interesting is that while the driver version number hasn't changed when compared to the 101.4575 beta drivers from last week, the new 101.4575 comes with a different change-log. It mentions Game On (day-one) optimization for "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart," and "Remnant II," in addition to optimization for "Exoprimal" and "Jagged Alliance 3." that were announced last week. Besides this, the "fixed isses" and "known issues" lists between the beta and WHQL are identical.

DOWNLOAD: Intel Arc GPU Graphics Drivers 101.4575 WHQL

GAMING HIGHLIGHTS:
Intel Game On Driver support on Intel Arc A-series Graphics for:
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • Remnant II
Fixed
Intel Arc Graphics Products:
  • Halo Infinite (DX12) may experience application freeze or crash after loading to game menu.
  • Streaming Dota 2 (DX11) using XSplit Broadcaster may exhibit corruption in Game Capture mode.
Known Issues
Intel Arc Graphics Products:
  • Shadow of The Tomb Raider (DX11) may experience an application crash after loading to game menu.
  • System may hang while waking up from sleep. May need to power cycle the system for recovery.
  • GPU hardware acceleration may not be available for media playback and encode with some versions of Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Topaz Video AI may experience errors when using some models for video enhancement.
  • Blender 3.6 may experience an application crash during render operations when Hardware Ray Tracing is enabled.
  • Adobe After Effects may experience an application crash during render operations.
Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics Products:
  • Driver installation may not complete successfully on certain notebook systems with both Intel Iris Xe + Iris Xe MAX devices. A system reboot and re-installation of the graphics driver may be required for successful installation.
Intel Core Processor Products:
  • Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 (DX12) may exhibit corruption on certain light sources such as fire.
Arc Control Fixed
  • Arc Control may become unresponsive after a driver upgrade. A workaround is to perform a clean driver installation using Display Driver Uninstaller.
Arc Control Known Issues
  • Using Arc Control Studio capture with certain games may incorrectly generate multiple video files.
  • With Intel Arc Control installed, systems may experience slightly higher than expected power consumption during system sleep or hibernate.
  • May observe "could not stop Highlights" notification when stopping Auto-Game Highlights.
  • The Camera on-screen preview may incorrectly persist when switching between Desktop and Overlay modes.
  • The "Connector" type in the Display page may incorrectly show DP when using an HDMI display connection.
  • May observe "stream has already ended" pop-up after the power events with Capture/Highlights/Broadcast toggle on.

So, it looks like they are more concerned with gamin optimizations, instead of fixing the real "known" issues.....probably in a effort to try & catch up to the other, betta cards out there, for which they still have a L*O*N*G* way to go IMHO...

At least Intel is trying. Hope they keep at it.

instead of fixing the real "known" issues..
It’s actually a little deceiving. They are merging the igpu and arc driver line which started a few driver releases ago. It appears to be outlined in the patch notes but the notes do appear “larger” because they are tackling issues on both fronts.

Looking at past notes it’s a miracle they haven’t introduced more; and frankly application issues like topaz and adobe require both companies to play ball so I generally don’t count them.

Well, in the materials engineering & construction world, there are 3 critical things everyone has to be aware of:

A) Known knowns
B) Known unknowns
C) Unknown unknowns

And once you identify & fix/mitigate A & B, figuring out C becomes way simpler... too bad they can't/won't apply this logic to software development... :)

@TheLostSwede Do you know if these drivers are for integrated 13th gen Intel CPU's? When I look at integrated downloads for Intel cpu's it shows 11th gen and 12th gen only support... so 13th gen and Arc dedicated use the same driver? Just a bit confused.

@Super Firm Tofu I just remembered you owned Arc dedicated and own a integrated 13th gen, so you might know. Asking because I got a new work laptop and it has 13th gen cpu in it... so I am not sure what the heck driver to download.

Sold the A750 and both my 12th and 13th gen integrated GPUs are disabled in the BIOS. I did check the intel site and it says they're one in the same.

This download installs Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4575 for Intel® Arc™ Graphics, 11th-13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor graphics, and related Intel Pentium® and Celeron® processors

thanks, the confusion I had was because I was looking here at TPU... and it doesn't read as clearly.

this is the igp download page on TPU, doesn't list 13th gen, but lists XE... so I was like hmm is 13th gen integrated xe?

then I go to Arc download page on TPU and I see this (see below)... still no 13th gen listed... so I was like what the heck, which one do I download haha... I just downloaded ARC anyway, seems to be working fine, but good to have confirmation, thanks

@W1zzard You may want to throw 13th gen in one of these for those of us uneducated in such matters... or maybe I am just dumb, most likely the latter heh. should i uninstall ARC and install the IGP one if only running integrated 13th gen graphics? I am very confused by these matters heh

Does anyone have an ARC gpu here? Just wondering how the older game performance is coming along? I remember when they tested here at release the Borderlands 3 1080p performance wasn't very good.

perhaps time for a re-test??

Hmm...

So it seems that 3790 and 4575 support the same hardware configs

11th Gen and up

older IGPs are supported only by 2114

I guess we can just get rid of the separate "Arc" download and put everything under "Intel IGP & Arc"

Thoughts?

I think this would work, I am not speaking just for myself here, but many people are not as tech fluent as most on this site, so when this site pops up in their google feed, it might be helpful to "hold their hand" a bit. So specifically have in there, 13th gen igp you download this driver here: haha I am sure you can word it better than me though

I am using the Arc download now on my work laptop and I played Age of Empires Definitive Edition, ran max settings solid 60 fps, no issues. So, it works lol tbh I am still confused by it all, cause I thought Arc was dedicated only.

I think so. I think at this point (and the big concern originally) the new "ARC" drivers are the ones that matter. On anything older than the IGPs they currently support Windows and even linux take care of the drivers automatically. Given the limited usability (complexity) of everything older than XE might as well let MS take care of the driver problem it already solved. No reason for us to worry about it.
