anyone know the difference in part numbers for the X-25M 80GB's.I have two numbers-SSDSA2M080G2GN and SSDSA2MH080G2.Whats the "GN" designation????

There is a difference... not extreme, but a difference.

Look here: Intel® High Performance Solid State Drive Product order codes; maybe it will help a little. the page was created: Date Created: 17-Aug-2008 and updated: Last Modified: 19-May-2010, so if you have a newer number\code it might not be there, exp. if it has to do with revisions.

So the difference is in form factor.7mm height for the "GN" designation and 9.5mm height for the SSDSA2MH080G2. I would guess laptop for "GN" and both laptop and desktop for the other.......

The "C1" designation is OEM!simply put,no bracket but same as "R5"(retail)
