Hi All

Have just built myself a new system, and ran CPUZ as you do, when I noticed that I had two instances open, each with similar info, but one telling me I had an Extreme :S

:nutkick:

Anyway enough rambling, has anyone seen an error like this before, or is my registry just somehow corrupt?

lol, it's the program, it gets confused when more than 1 instance is open.

Submit the bug report.

Here's my clock speed according to CPU-Z...

5.65GHz, Nice!

World record, higher than C2D Max!

It's probably reading both his cores as 1.

Trade my 2.4 quad for ur 6ghz :P

I see a slight problem in that offer :p

its probably because the first instance has full access to the computer info, and the second one is trying to access the info, but its not fully able to and its getting incorrect stuff. close the first instance and then the second instance should be correct. its more of a windows problem then a cpuz problem i think.

Multiple instances works fine for me.

it works for me too.but i get a pop up before it opened for multiple instances the pop up sis titled driver error and it says "an error occured when opening the driver, cpu-z will launch but not all information will be avaliable. " its caused probably due to a resource conflict(2 cpuz trying to access the same info) i say. could be cause of win xp home.. i'm on pro.. and wile e is on vista..

I'm on XP Pro as well. I just have a cracked uxtheme.dll and can use unofficial themes.
