I have 4 IR LEDs that I bought and a couple of resistors.
I had originally wanted to build a sensor bar for a wiimote that was going to be connected to my pc (wiimote through bluetooth, and sensor bar through usb).
I couldn't get the wiimote to work again after I got it to work the first time, and now I don't have the wiimote anymore.
The LEDs are now sitting.
What can I do with them?
On another note, I just ordered 20 blue LEDs, to put inside a case I'm trying to build. The case is going to be made of acrylic, and it's going to be about the size of a HTPC, but smaller and with better air flow, and can accommodate a standard atx mobo, 21.8cm (W) x 29.3cm (L).
How should I arrange them so that I get maximum lighting coolness, fewest wires, and the most convenient way to hook all of them to 4 switches on a dip switch and either 12 volts or 5?
