hi,

i'm wondering if it is safe to let plug all time (15hour per day) an external ssd drive (usb) ?

what is your opnion ?

Never had an issue, if anything a ups for the computer and usb drive would be good

I always leave both my back-up & my storage drives connected 24/7/365, except for the rare occasion when I clean my desk surface or something, neveranottaproblemo :D

The biggest concern would be something plugged into a higher power delivery USB port that can't handle it.

I have both HDD's & SSD's (m.2's)....2 of each at home, plus 1 more of each stored in a safe location away from da house, which I rotate weekly :)
