Is it possible to connect a GameCube controller to a PC?

I'm not sure if im in the right section, but, I was wondering if it was possible to connect a GameCube controller to a PC. I thought maybe there was an adapter or something as I've seen one for a PlayStation Controller.

It would be so awsome if it were possibele, the GameCube controller is god :respect:
