If it can be unlocked, otherwise get the xt.

Not really, they dont unlock. There would be a slight boost, but it wouldn't be that much. If you can afford a 7800gt or an x1800xl it would be a good performance increase though.

Yep, I was going to say that, Just keep the card you got, unless you hit up to 512 ddr3 something higher powered and more money.

7900GT is a good option, otherwise stick with the X850, its plenty powerful enough still. Forget whatever a benchmark says, can you still play games maxed or close to maxed? Yes? No need to upgrade then.

i agree with you.and also there is no actuall gain in moving to an X1800XL.
