I just got a new sapphire x800 gto from newegg to replace my 9700 pro but I'm getting a blank screen when I boot up. I get no beeps and a message saying there's no signal to the monitor before the monitor cuts off to powersave mode.

I've tried reseating the card several times with no luck. The fan is spinning on the card. I have it connected with it's own power cord comming from the power supply.

I tried removing the old drivers before changing cards with no success.

abit IC7 raid mobo
P4 2.8 oc'd
Antec Truepower 550w

Thanks in advance.

I've gone back and forth to my old card a few times while troubleshooting this problem so I know the cord is okay.
