Is the Predator X34A worth buying used?

I am wondering if a Acer Predator X34A with 3440x1440@100hz worth buying for about £317 / 395 USD for?

It's tested any works fine at 100hz and I am wondering if this IPS monitor is worth replacing my current Dell S2417DG 2560x1440@165hz TN panel?

I've got the same 165Hz monitor as you got now, personally I wouldn't change it for a 3440x1440 100Hz monitor.

Those TN panels you guys own rock some serious overdrive to reach 165 Hz.

The Acer is good, it's the same panel in my monitor. Though, it's not something I'd buy used. Those LG panels can come up with problems over time, mine already developed a bad pixel or two.

unless you need an extra wide monitor i wouldn't bother going down to a 100hz monitor

The extra width would have been nice for some games and getting back to IPS for the colours but it's nothing that can't wait for something better.

I am planning VR later this year with a Oculus Rift S and Medal of Honor Above and Beyond.
