Hey guys first of all merry Christmas and a happy new year.

The situation I'm in is this.....

I have a laptop here, which is an older model that runs at 1366x768p.
It has a HDMI connector which I'm using to plug into a HDMI splitter that has 4 outputs.
Each one connects to a TV either 4K or 1080P.
Everytime we set to duplicate the image, it does work but the image on the TV is not set as "Fullscreen". It says on the middle as if the resolution isn't big enought to fill the entire screen.
But when we configure it as a second screen it does fill it up correctly.
What can I do to fix it?
In the past it did work.

The image below is just an example, I didn't take it I can take it later.

Hi,
Sounds like the tv is confused with the signal.
Which exact splitter.

Which exact splitter.
It's multiple different TVs, I'll take a picture of the splitter and post in 5 min

Might restore defaults/ factory reset on the one that gets confused.

Splitter ?
Does it have it's own power plug ?

Hi,
Yeah powered via usb looks okay.

Can't tell if you're using it or not.

When you say duplicate, do you mean with the native laptop display? Because usually the duplicated displays will all use the same resolution as the lowest one. Your example photo shows a 4:3 image. Is that the same as you see? Or is it a proper 16:9 image in the center of the tv?

Have you tested with only one tv connected to the splitter? All of them, one at a time? This could be an EDID problem as well.

It's passive power I think

It's this model right here basically
You are linking to one product. Then showing an image of a completely different 3 to 1 input switch.

Does the splitter support changing the output resolution / have an auto-detect feature where it'll resize and output at the highest supported resolution of the display? You'd probably need to look at the manual for that. It looks like the splitter is just outputting the same size as the input. You might also want to check your TV, many have options to automatically size content that doesn't height or width of the screen.

Exactly but it work in the past even with different screen resolution

EDID?
I tested with one only and had the same issue

Idk about that its super basic I doubt it
It's just plug an play literally

But it did work previously.
Stopped out of nowhere

Hi,
The type that doesn't have a power line usually don't last forever.
Maybe if you haven't already that is, clean the ports with some 90%+ alcohol
Let it dry with lots of air hitting it before reuse.
