ok im trying to burn a playlist on itunes and each time i try i get and error saying disc burner or software not found what do i need to do. i have burned stuff with my cd burner before but never using itunes

i just updated my itunes and it still does not work

Well try my second solution

why dont you just google cd burning software on google???

bc i have a playlist im trying to burn and it has like 70 songs. if i use something ells i would have to remake the playlist and that would take forever cu is have allot of music.

Odd. Sounds like windows doesn't see a burner, but other burning apps work?

I would try a different audio burning app.

Make sure you have itunes 8.2, and have any drivers for your CDROM if available.

Is this an HD-DVD driver or blu-ray drive? Or regular dvd burner?

You can also export playlists by right clicking them. (Unless this is mac only..)

yeah other buring apps work and it's just a dvd burner. i can export the playlist but i cant load it into anything els cus itunes saves the play list as a notepad file. it will only open in itunes.

iTunes screws up from time to time for some reason. Most likely you would have to uninstall and reinstall or just try to repair it.

Heres a fix = songbird hehe

wait wait... 70 songs... do you have it set to burn an MP3 CD or just a music cd? If you have it set to music it will only allow ~20 songs max, depending on their size. Burning it as an MP3 cd will allow you between 200-300 songs

iTunes asks you what you want to burn it as when you click burn. It is no longer stored as a default.

i got it i saved the playlist and booted in vista and it worked
